Today I thought I would share with you an easy DIY hair and scalp oil you can use as a pre-shampoo treatment. Feeding your hair and scalp with natural plant oils will do wonders for the condition of your hair. If you are trying to grow your hair, have heat damaged hair or you are simply trying to maintain healthy hair using a pre-shampoo treatment will be great for you. I suffer from a dry, itchy scalp and this method is definitely the thing that has helped me a lot.

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?
Coconut oil
Coconut is loaded with anti-fungal properties that can treat itchiness and fungal infections to a great extent.It is also a natural anti-bacterial.It keeps scalp infections at bay and thus it prevents the itchy scalp due to any infections. Also, the coconut oil helps to moisturize dry scalp that might cause itchiness.
Neem oil
Beyond the hair itself, neem benefits your scalp as well. Neem oil for hair is a natural cure for dandruff and a dry, itchy scalp due to its effectiveness as a treatment for fungi, which often cause dandruff and a dry scalp. Neem oil helps to treat these itchy scalp by cleansing and stimulating blood flow to the skin. It also helps to nourish the scalp and the roots of your hair due to its high concentration of fatty acids. Because of its anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties, neem oil can help to improve the condition of your scalp.
Black seed oil
Black seed oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant nutrients which strengthen hair, help treat hair loss, and may prevent premature graying. It also fights the Malassezia fungus that causes dandruff and works as a hair conditioner as well. Balancing the pH of your scalp is potent in treating various skin conditions – even when dealing with hair loss, fungus, and itchy scalp. Thus lemon oil helps to reduce itchiness by balancing PH.
HOW TO MAKE THIS HAIR AND SCALP OIL
In a bowl, pour in the carrier oils and essential oil and mix them well and transfer it to an bottle that is free from moisture, our hair oil for itchy scalp is ready to use.
